Hampshire Hills.

Within the ever-growing network of Lakewood’s satellite communities, Hampshire Hills, located in Jackson, stands out as an exemplary vibrant kehillah. Initially settled by a handful of pioneer families in 2018, the original nucleus has evolved into a robust enclave of more than 180 families that continues to grow. A strong sense of achdus and caring permeates this close-knit, healthy blend of families from different backgrounds, reminiscent of the classic kehillos of yesteryear. They are united by a common desire to grow, improve, and come closer to Hashem as individuals and as a community.

Full Circle.

In its early stages, the fledgling shul’s members convened in a simple basement. As the neighborhood grew, a larger structure was adapted to service the community’s growing needs. Today, K’hal Hampshire Hills has grown not only in numbers, but also qualitatively, as an energetic center of Torah and tefillah. In addition to multiple daily minyanim, the shul is home to a pre-Shachris daf hayomi shiur; a morning Kollel; an extensive night seder program including Chaburos, shiurim, and chavrusos; Shabbos, motzai Shabbos, and Sunday learning programs; and various shiurim from the Rov. A major emphasis is placed on engaging young boys and bochurim of all ages with various shiurim and programs. The shul is an energetic hub that pulsates with a resounding kol Torah.

A Place to Grow.

At this juncture, K’hal Hampshire Hills has an exciting, sweeping vision of meaningful expansion: to create a comprehensive Torah resource center that will service the multi-faceted needs of our beautiful community. To achieve this goal, K’hal Hampshire Hills has embarked on an ambitious Building Campaign. An ideal property has been secured, comprehensive architectural plans have been drawn up, and construction is poised to begin.

Some basic highlights of the proposed campus include:

· 22,000 square foot building on a 14-acre property

· Beautiful main Bais Medrash, seats 350 people

· Spacious ezras noshim

· Mikva tahara

· Separate smaller Bais Medrash for shiurim

· Well-stocked Otzar Haseforim

· Community book library

· Large capacity Simcha Hall: option for two events

· State-of-the-art industrial kitchen

· Men’s mikva

· 110-spot parking lot

This encompassing center will service the needs of the broader Hampshire Hills neighborhood and surrounding areas.
